SICK.

I knew it will be happened to me, and today... IT FINALLY HAPPENED.

Guess what people? I am finally sick.

Due to extreme head dizziness and short of breath, I sort of collaspe on the desk during one of the changeover period and slept until school ends. Till now, I still have a lil dizzy spell. I think I better go get some rest after this post.

I was perspiring when I got home. Strange thing tho, my temperature was 36.5 degree celcius. Can you believe that my temperature is lower than my normal 36.9 and I was sweating like hell?

Very strange day indeed. =X

I must quit admiring the necklace I've made yesterday, and start designing my programme booklet.

UGH.

New necklace

I have a few items in my possession that I find them useless after making one or two earrings. They are:

- A bronze/copper color chain
- pink crystal like beads
- a heart shaped crystal pendant
- a small metal heart
- black diamond shaped beads

And I bought a heart shaped pendant today in Spotlight @ Plaza Singapura.

Miss Mouse gives me an inspiration to make new things out of old things. So after a few matching here and there, I finally made a necklace out of these 'useless' things:

I can probably featch about 10 bucks for this item. But no, I'm not going to sell it. I love it tooooooo much to sell it away.

东西旧了不代表没有用处 (old things doesnt means useless things)
Recycle is good.

Depression

I'm too lazy and too busy to update recently. And yes, I came to update today because Henry is craving for my exciting entry.

But basically, I've got no mood to crap anymore. My dear cousin isn't going to support me on Drama Nite because of her boyfriend. MY ONE AND ONLY CHANCE TO PERFORM IN A THEATRE PEOPLE. We, the Dramapians do not have the luxury of making another production. Sigh.

I think I have depression.

Two days ago (12 AM now), I was reading the IN-magazine and there was 2 full page article on Depression. And there I saw, "SYMPTONS OF DEPRESSION":

- feeling sad most of the time
- feeling like you have no energy to do things and always wanted to sleep
- gets irritated easily over small things
- thoughts of death or suicidal

Seriously, I have all four symptons. I'm serious, no kidding. About death/suicidal, sometimes when I was crossing the road, I will feel like stopping in the middle of the road suddenly and let the car run me down.

I dont know since when I'm feeling that way. I guess the thought is in my mind for quite awhile. Perhaps since primary 6.

Sigh, forget it. I think no one will care. Not even those that I care for.

People please stop being so apathetic, will you?

Kiasi

Before I blog about anything, let me just wish Si Min a happy belated birthday! (:

So yea, it has been 3 days since I updated something on the blog.

Once, my Social Studies teacher talks about why wars are avoidable between Singapore and Malaysia:

Teacher: Do you know why Singapore and Malaysia never go on war? That's because Singapore and Malaysia's negotiation didn't fail.

Me: (wispher to classmate) That's when he's wrong. They never go on war because Singaporeans are kiasi.

Classmate: Right.

In any case you guys dont know what's kiasi, it means "afraid to die" in Hokkien.

Singapore has been very peaceful for years because of heavily imposed fines.

Yes indeed, Singaporeans are born in a country where every rules are imposed with fines which caused Singaporeans to be kiasi. Kiasi not because of they are scard to die, but rather afraid to part with their money. Illegal parking - fine, eating chewy gums - fine, littering - fine, jay walking - fine, spitting - fine, illegal betting - fine, eating and drinking - fine, durians - fine, everything - FINE. I totally agree with Liang Po Po the movie, "Singapore is a FINE country". In school the moment you speak Mandarin in English class, there goes your money.

But in some cases, people seemed like they are very "daring". For example, even though parking without parking coupons in the multi storey carpark is illegal and can be fined even for the first time, everyone still do it. Here's another kia si behaviour:

Auntie: Eh, you're not using the parking coupon?

Uncle: No la. Parking coupons are a waste of money.

A: But you will be fined!

U: $50 only. Nowadays fines are even cheaper than parking coupons.

*Traffic police comes*

U: Traffic police lai liao! SIAM AR! *speds off*

That's for adult cases. What about students:

A: 今天有什么功课?

Teacher: A, come out and surrender your dollar to me.

A: *groans and hand the money to the teacher*

We, Singaporeans, have kiasi-ness in our blood. Tsk.

Poster

I was talking to Miss Ibaidah yesterday (it's past 12 already) regarding the posters thingy. To my horror, she doesnt want posters anymore. So yea, I told Weepeng about this and he said that we are going to do a poster no matter what. Be it forking out the money ourselves. And I sorta agree with him. Posters is a form of advertisements. How can a production do without posters?

So anyway, I made my verson of the poster already because Liz's poster got rejected by Miss Sim. It's kind of sad to see her works got rejected by the principal.. and that poster got her quite a few months to do it. Now her works got rejected, she cant possibly do a new one because shes having her O's this year.

We are ready to submit to the teacher tomorrow. This better gets the approval by Miss Sim. We dont have much time left!

That's the poster. Click on the image to preview. And oh yes, it's copyrighted. Please do not rip off any part of the poster.

I kind of think that the building destroy the whole poster. Ugh. Comments on this poster please.

PS: Please support the production by buying tickets to watch the show.

Him?!

I dont know how I felt about this, but something is just not right.

I was chatting with my cousin just now about her boyfriend and was giving advices to her. Seriously, at first.. I dont know if I should give her advices. Because shes older than me, and naturally should have more experience in this. But I went through the exact same incidents before, and my cousin's bf and him are so alike in terms of personality so I gave my advices to her. Somehow as we talked, I copied one of the incidents from his blog and pasted into the conversation. I told her what happened, and as I type.. I cried.

That's so wrong.

I mean, I shouldnt be crying over the past.. but somehow I feel that I have not totally let go of him. When we chatted in the conversation, these bits and pieces of the pasts flashed in my mind. the more I typed, the more I cried.

Or is it because I'm missing the past?

Ocasionally I will look at his blog, viewed all the past incidents about us. The moment I came online, I will look at his nick. Everytime when I SMS-ed the alumnis, I will SMS him first. Everytime he came back to school with his bros, I will noticed him first.

Something is missing in my life, but I dont know what.

rain-fashioned

I bought a shirt online!

I came across this site: http://rains-fashioned.blogspot.com and saw many pretty clothes.

(Click tumbnail to enlarge)

I was determined to buy one but I couldnt decide which. All was so pretty and I felt like buying everything there. In the end, I chose code 55, because it can match both jeans and denim skirts. Also because it's tight fitted and the shirt can wear over the neck and shoulders.

OMG, I feel like buying all man.

TFP

Oh yay, I went for the puppet play called "First Family" by The Finger Players.

Casts:
Tan Beng Tian - The Minister
Oliver Chong - Youngest Daughter
Karen Tan - 3rd Daughter
Jean Ng - 2nd Daughter
Goh Guat Kian - Mother
Low Kah Wei - 1st Daughter
Ong Kian Sin - 4th Daughter
Claire Devine - 5th Daughter
Julius Foo - The Prince

I loooooove the play too much. Talking about the backstage, the blending of the shadow puppetry and the actors are like damn well. I LOVE the lightings as well. Personally I feel that the Lightings designer, Lim Woan Wen did a great job for the lights design. The part when they used damn strong lights and shine it on the audience is freaking well. Ying Wuen told us that that thing can be quite tricky. If you play with it well enough, the audiences like it. If you dont, they will hate it. So yea, thumbs up for the lights designer.

Those people who didnt get a chance to watch it, it's your loss. Because Darren Ng, the sound designer for the play, is doing the operating the sound LIVE. It's always nice to see theatre plays where the sound is designed by Darren. I love the sounds damn loads. I have to say that he is awesome. I LOVE DARREN.

If I'm not wrong, the playwright, Chong Tze Chen should be CT. So, as for the story plot and directing, CT does a great job... as usual. The fighting scene between the Prince and the Mother was indeed very funny and the idea is perfect. Because if there was only the opera fighting alone, the whole show scene will be boring. It's good to add in Waltz, 1980's Dance and the scissors paper stone thingy. But during the quarrel scene among the 6 daughters, the atmosphere wasnt there. CT's set designs are also very simple, yet they can bring out the effects and nice blending effects.

Overall performance comments for the actors: I love it. Among all the actors/actresses, I love Kian Sin and Oliver the most. The 2 guys were acting as ladies! Kian Sin and Oliver didnt dissapoint me. Their acting were better than the previous show. Beng Tian's chinese is very good, and she acts as well as the other TFPs too. I love Goh Guat Kian(mothe), but I prefer her acting in the prev show. Julius Foo, another great actor that I must comment on. His role as the evil scheming prince is damn nice. He acts very well, but could be better if he pronunce his chinese words more properly. Great job guys!

The play is definetely worth of your money. 30 bucks, not wasted!

So speaking of the TFP, Ying Wuen have came up with another puppet show for the TFP. The branch of "Pigs can fly", this coming play is called "Miss Mouse". I'm definetely going to watch this show. Can't miss any TFP's plays, especially it's pure puppetry.

Re-cycle

Went to Orchard Cine to catch Re-cycle with Kevin and Justin today.

It's been 1 month since I went to Orchard road.

I waited for them like about... 1 hour? During that 1 hour, I took in loads of second-hand smoke. Tsk, not good for health. And so they finally arrived, both wearing white.

Not so important. Skip that part.

So we proceed on to buying the tickets. And to our horror, the counter do not have the change. Wo0~ So yea, we stood there at the counter for so long just to get our change back. J got so excited when he got hold of the tickets. He was like dashing to the theatre while Kev and me just walk in. Thinking back now, his actions was so drama. Ha-ha-ha.

So yea, the movie... it was quite bad actually. It wasnt scary at all. In fact, we laughed through out the whole movie. Their movie plot wasnt that bad, but a lil... not logical and stupid. I dont really understand the ending of the movie either. The only thing that I liked about the movie was the special effects and the make-ups. If it werent for those, I think this movie is totally un-watchable. Well, I kind of expected the movie to turn out like this before I watched it. Because it's rated PG. You cant expect much from PG rated horror films. Wasted my 8 bucks. -.-

And yes, I love the way how Kev speaks. He has got this very nice American accent that I always love. I was so afraid that I can't catch what hes talking at first. Overall, I think Kev is a nice and friendly person. ^^

Of course, I enjoyed my day today despite that lousy movie. =)

Self-Reflection

Had a nice chat with Jy and peeps in Mac today. Seriously, that talk helped me alot. And I mean hell loads. It suddenly dawned on me that I shouldnt continue clarifying because that would only make things worse. Thanks Jy! :D

So yea, in this post will be purely self-reflection. Gosh, I love reflections.

I learnt a very valuable lesson: Never try to retaliate/defend yourself/clarify things in conflicts because the more you try, the deeper the misunderstanding. Everyone have their own point of view, the way you express your thoughts might be interpret wrongly by other people.

I asked Weepeng about the ethnic code of conduct for an actor. So what are they?
1) The characters that you are assigned to, you must do the homework yourself
2) Cannot wait for the director to chase you
3) Memorise your lines, definetely
4) Do not criticise your fellow actors

So yea, I broke rule number 4 - Do not criticise your fellow actors. Though I didnt mean it and have already said sorry to Mitch on the phone before already, I would like to apologise once again here. ^^

From the conflict, I saw one thing - A misunderstanding can actually blow up the friendship which you and your friend have built for 3 years. Now it makes me really wonder what kind of person I'm really am to them. Maybe I wasn't that important in their life afterall. Maybe I'm just a mere shadow, that lingers amongst their circle of friends. Is friendship that vulnerable, I wonder.

经一致,长一智。

Life is all about learning new things and the mistakes you've made (:

The Drama Politics II

O.o Now things are getting a lil more fun than it initially was, I guess.

Since Huijun wants to make it BIG, then we should I think.

BUT PLEASE NOTE THAT I'M TRYING TO CLARIFY EVERYTHING. NOT TO SHOOT ANYONE OR CREATE ANOTHER REPLY IN ANY BLOGS. Ugh.

I read Afiqah's blog before blogging, and I'm going to clarify everything she wrote. No, not really everything.. Just some parts of the post:

Yes. Your group is good. I admit. But we want to surpass you. Isn't that normal in ANY competition?

We never wanted any competition in the production team. If you said that this is a competition between the production, that's when you are totally wrong. We worked towards the SAME goal. Competition only comes when people are jealous of others and wanted to surpass them. You get what I mean?

Next,

You have been together since last december while we've just been recasted and have been with one another only a month. Your bonds within the group are strong compared to ours.

Our group were never strong bonded in any of the case. Huijun got taken out from our team to join yours, right? And before that.. there's some quarrel between me and huijun, if you guys remember. So, you cant really say that our bonds within the team are strong compared to yours. Am I right to say that?

The thing that really pissed me off was when a member of your group called a member of our group a ''RETARD''. Yes, he's acting wasn't good and he was forgetting his lines, but NO ONE and I MEAN NO ONE, deserves to be called that. That has gone to the point of RUDENESS. As a human being, don't you think you should treat one another the same? We are all not pro-actors though we aspire to be. We know where we stand.

May I ask you a question before I carry on with the post?

Did you ever check with Mitch on this "retard" incident? You can say whatever you want, Mitch and Me knows that you didnt for sure. Because I had a long chat with him on the phone about the Drama politics one day after this incident happen. He totally understands what I meant about "RETARD". What I meant was " 'he is slow in the show, not mental illness' -weepeng" And if you dont believe that me and mitch did chat about that incident, check the picture below.

So do G.A got my idea across?? I hope so.

Mass Conv

I've been doing something the past few nights:

1) mass conversation,
2) mass conversation,
3) and still mass conversation

Those people I had mass conversations with are real fun. At least better than chatting with only one person.

Mass Conversation is cool!
