This is really a very sad entry...

I'm in Ngee Ann Poly now.

Ha-ha-ha.

Alright. Tell you something. I JUST FINISHED A BOOK!

It's a romance novel called "Sex, lies and online dating" by Rachel Gibson.

It's an entertaining read I tell you. A little erotic I would say, but if you can imagine.. Hey, you'll find it both hilarious and romantic at the same time.

Go buy it. It's good.

**

I would really wish that I could whine as much as I want in my blog, because this is MY SPACE. However, whining... doesn't solve much problems. In fact, it add on more problems, more burdens about other people. People come to my blog for stress relieve because they are mostly happy reads.

As many would have guessed, I'm not happy with my current life.

Though I led a quite fulfilling, stressful-but-happy lifestyle in school, I think I'm no happy man inside. Everyone who is a regular reader of my blog knows what is my passion, what I really like to do.

To be able to have the talent to act, to pretend even for just an hour is a joy to me. I get to relax myself totally when I used to go back to Drama or BUDS. I like there because it's like a second home to me, I get to do what I like to do without caring much about anything. Even though the days were stressful enough for you to tear all the hair from your head, those days were the most happiest days of my life.

I guess I can never do the same again. 2 days ago, I finally return back to BUDS because I'm finally free from school work. But perhaps that session is trying to tell me to give up my passion for 5 years. I experienced my first ever blanked out on stage, the kind of feeling I never had. I can't think, I can't wack a scene out of anything. Because of that, I cried.

"It's no big deal," you said. To me, Drama means alot to me. It is a starting point of my life, somewhere where I met so many good friends, those that don't mind how I look, how I speak, how I react. I feel good there because of them, and many teachers who have helped me over the years have taught me many good values on how to be a better person.

I believe I have a talent in this area. During these years I stay on and fight. I've came so far, yet I lost it all because of my hectic polytechnic lifestyle. Many a times I felt like giving up, yet I stayed on because of something, something that makes my life complete. Now this time I really feel that I should give up. Perhaps this road was never meant for me. Again and again I've met so many obstacles. This one is the biggest. I can never revert back to the same again.

I really miss the old time, the times I stayed up late in the night because I'm doing things for Drama. Compliments are always there to keep me going ahead, and friends are there for me when I feel vulnerable.

Who can I turn to at this point of time? Everyone doesn't look the same to me anymore. They looked distant, and I'm sure they feel the same way as I did when they all look at me.

As for my current course, I'm happy to fit in there because I remembered saying something like if God wants me to fall into that pit of shit, then I shall.
I'm glad I can survive in there, and new coursemates have been very supportive of me. However, it just feels different. I keep a distance away from everyone, not that I'm like some arrogant bastard and stuffs but I just tend to be cautious. I don't think I will be able to pour out my heartfelt words to them anytime soon not because I don't treat them as friends. It's just different. When I can say anything under the sun to a person, that means I know them well enough to pour secrets. However they aren't that close yet, we don't have much topics to share about, and I certainly don't have any hobbies that interests them. I find it hard to communicate though I've tried. I'm happy to fit in, but not very happy because I only fit in and not totally be in it.

**

Oh btw, sorry for not replying to any tags since god-knows-when. I've been rather busy the past previous weeks, and I'm feeling rather down lately.

Till then.

Sigh.

So in the end I still get nothing.

I'm so dead.

Waiting for DAE and appeal. Hopefully MOE can throw me into some random course.

Amongst all the sadness,
my script is chosen for this Sunday's BUDS workshop & audition.

And Ms Ibaidah told us that we can "teach" our juniors. Like you know, non-official/no pay instructor. No?

但是我高兴不起来。

Please God, stop fooling me. Please..?

To Mdm Ng's house!

God. My eyes are very tired and swollen.

Yesterday I went to Mdm Ng's house for CNY visit with the whole lot of Drama seniors! It's always a "tradition" to visit Mdm Ng at least once in a year. And we always either leave when the sky is very dark (11pm) or we leave the next morning.

I took loads of pictures taken at Mdm Ng's house with Wanjun, Sis and Wenchun! Since there were too much to upload, I will only pick out a few... but these pictures will probably tells you how much fun we had at her house.

Hi, I'm Jay Chou's sister.

Yayyyyyy~

There's a time when YS came in and chat with us, then he showed us a video...

Mom, mom, mom, mummy, mummy, ma, ma, ma, mum, mum, mum.

Ha-ha-ha!

茗香菜馆

Yesterday I went to celebrate Sean's Mum's birthday at Beng Hiang Restaurant (ming2 xiang1 cai4 guan3) which is situated at Amoy Street.

The parking lots in Amoy Street are pathetically little, so we had to keep turning in and out of this one way lane.

Since I'm quite a fan of chinese food (dont really like western restaurants, too much dinning etiqutte that I cannot remember), I can tell you that the food they served there are D-LICIOUS! Yum-yum.

We had: (I give you the most exact dishes' names here, cept the fish because I have no idea what fish was that. I'm not a fan of fishes.)

Long longevity paus
Cold dish Combination(leng3 pan2)
Doubled Boiled Superior Shark's fin w/ Pig's Tail
Crispy Suckling Pig (thumbs up for this)
Fish
Asparagus w/ scallops
Braised Duck with Sea-cucumber in claypot
Long Longevity noodles
Dessert (not sure what dessert, but it taste good)
Kong Bak Pau
Cake (from Choc.a.bloc I think)

Hm.. this is the first time I ate a little from every dishes. (was thinking that I should not be too choosy when eating out with them) And Sean's Dad kept telling us to try the Kong Bak Pau from this restaurant because its quite famous.

Oh and I got 2 blisters on my right foot due to the rubbing between my toes and the peep toes wedges. *cries*

Today I joined the Buds Youth Theatre for a workshop! Yayyyyy~
It's located at The Substation.
The session rocked.
I played new drama games.
I meet new friends.
I'm going for a second session after CNY.
I love Drama.
Yayyyyyyy~

I feel GOD-LY.

Yesterday I went back to school to ask Ms Ibaidah (ok, shes married. But I prefer to call her Ms Ibaidah) to help me write a CCA Testimonial for the Joint Polytechnic Special Admission Excercise (JPSAE). Basically through JPSAE, you can *hopefully* get into the course you want via letter of recommendation, portfolio, interview and so on.

So when she was typing the testimonial out, I feel like I'm being praised like god!

Few extracts from the testimonial that made me feel god-ly:

"She played a bigger role, assisting the teaching in being the Student Director in SYF 2007 which again helped the team achieved another Silver medal"

"Her well-rounded approach to the different aspects of Drama can be seen where she joined..."

"She is efficiently bilingual,"

"Her dedication as an active citizen is seen..."

"Valerie's dedication and passion towards Drama can be seen where she constantly updates and improve herself as an actress..."

I'm still feeling god-ly.

Testimonial is a powerful tool.

Thank you.

Have a nice day.

Happy one-year Weijun!! lol.

I'm known as Yi Lian today and tomorrow. It's my production name laaa.

And on this very special day(s), I saw the course in SP that I most likely can be able to get in with my outstanding portfolio: Diploma of Applied Drama and Psychology.

I can be able to be an intern in The Finger Players with that diploma!

And I hope Weijun can enter this course with me too (since we BOTH wanted to get a job in TFP). =D=D=D

Shall break the news to him tomorrow.

Yesterday was National Day!

I know I'm late for this banner, but it's National Day week. So whatever.

Went out with Weepeng & Ryan (Weepeng's classmate a.k.a the Adidas watch man a.k.a Mr Piano Canon-in-D Man) yesterday to watch the showcase of a drama competition organised by the Singapore Press Holdings (SPH). I'm amazed by the fact that the theme of the competition was Singapore History and the showcase was on National Day itself!

The showcase was held at National Museum and this is the first time I went there. You know I'm not that kind of person who will visit musuems to look at fake stuffs right. The gallery only had one thing that interest me: A stone called Chocolate (it was named after the smell of the stone!).

So yes, before we enter the museum we saw people getting some FREE goodie bags from the FOH (it's the open house of National Museum). And just look at the queue! This is what I call Typical Singaporeans:

ALL THE WAY TO THE OPEN SPACE CARPARK!

I don't understand why they can stand the heat, and continue to queue up for worthless goodie bags. Well I guess it's because it's free right?

So back to the showcase. The showcase had 2 catergory, the lowersec 1st - 3rd winner schools and the uppersec 1st-3rd winner schools. I tell you, the lowersec winners' plays were all so horrendous. Now I think that our school didn't participate was quite a pity. Our juniors could win them so easily. But the uppersec was not bad, because Raffles Institution got first, Hougang sec got second and Tanjong Katong sec got third.

Overall, RI made this trip a worthy one.

Since we are at the musum why not take a trip to the shop inside? Things will be expensive definetely, but who cares if you find something nice there. And the things we bought are six packets of White Rabbit milk candies (da bai tu nai tang)! With different flavours! We didn't know that our childhood favourite actually exists in 6 different flavours.

After that we walked to Cathay House and ate at QuickBite. It was yummy, and the softshell crab is just darn delicious. Worth every single cent in my pocket.

Oh oh oh, next we walked to Raffles Hotel. How many Singaporeans actually went there before? Not me definetely. I don't even know its existence.

Took some pictures with the two men!

Me "sitting" on an empty base chair.

Something wrong with my phone. I guess it's because i didn't turn off the night mode before handling to Ryan.
Brokeback Mountain

BEST PICTURE EVER! Hahaha. Ryan looking at the top of the fountain.

Best acting partner. Hahah. I SWEAR I DIDN'T CLOSE MY EYES!

And lastly,
THE GAY HINDI DANCE! =DDDD

Oh, I saw Mediacorp Celeb at the hotel! You know Zhang Yao Dong? Yup, I saw him and a girl... prolly his girlfriend. HAHAHAHA.

After that we kept walking and went to landmark for a visit. Didn't stay there quite long as Ryan and Weepeng kept walking out from the shop. LOL. Gave a packet of Chocolate bunny sweets to the Aunties and left for APPLE STRUDELS!

I ate two strudels! Apple and Mango. I love the apple strudel so much. Weepeng ordered peach strudel and Ryan ordered the apple strudel. Burnt a big hole in my pocket, but they are definetely worth the money! Gonna try the durian strudel next time. :P

Oh, visit this for more of our funny yummy day! ^^

EDIT:
genpeew says: EEEEE
gengeew says: DONT TRY DURIAN
eilav says: HAHAHAHAH
eilav says: DURIAN RAWKZORS
genpeew says: NUUUUUUUUUUU

HAHAHAHA. I SHALL TRY DURIAN STRUDEL INFRONT OF WEEPENG! :P:P:P

Here's what I owe you guys

Right... so I better get down to blogging before school reopens, then I have no more time to blog!*cries*

I have so much overdue stuff to talk about. Wong Kar Wai Dreams, Camp, shopping trip on Thursday.... sigh.

Should I seperate into 2 posts then? Better not.

So I'll talk about Wong Kar Wai Dreams first.

It's your loss if you didn't went to watch it! And for those who hates The Finger Players, zip it before I sew up your mouth with toothpicks.

So it was 2 weeks ago, on Friday 15/6/07. Weepeng, Sze Siong and me went to the National Libarary (Bugis) 's Drama Centre to watch that play.

Wong Kar Wai Dreams is about a lady, named Ling, who lives with her bestie (Trish) & her bestie's husband (Bernard). Ling often dreamt about Wong Kar Wai (one of Asia's most enigmatic film directors alive today) dreaming of her...

In the play, the quote that prolly us three will remember forever is this (bearing in mind that this play is not R21):

Bernard: Ahhhh! Stop biting my nipple! *gets off the bed*

Ling: I thought you like it? I see most girls in porn doing it.

Bernard: What kind of sick porn have you been watching?

And:

Trish: Ling, you need rampant sex.

After the show, we ate in Terra Cafe in Bugis Junction. The food there is so-so. But the services are excellent! (perhaps because I'm a girl)

I ordered their Roast chicken pan-fried something (the name is too long, I can't remembered). It is $11.90 (excluding GST) with soup and a small cup of icecream for dessert. As for the drink, 1 bottle of Iced Ice Mountain cost me $1.50 (with a glass). It's a darn rip-off for the drink. =(

Finally when we leave, us three took some photos on the MRT. WhEe~

Drama Camp 2007
Wahey! Finally can come back and chat with Scott.

He said I have to mention his name somehow in my blog post, here's it is! =p

To tell you guys the truth, Drama camp this year isn't really fun. With all the limitations and I've been cooping myself inside the Dance room for almost every hour, it's not really.... fun. (except for ghost hunt *smiles to myself*

One of the station for ghost hunt is to piece a puzzle (which everyone hates).

How difficult can piecing a puzzle be?

Well, the solution to this station is a 2-step one.

Solution:
First step: Piece the puzzle of the school logo. We designed this puzzle in this way that you have to used up EVERY single piece of white spaces. When you finished, flip it.

Second step: There are 7 numbers on the back puzzle. Take out your handphone and text the following number: 5427279 and you will get "Library".

Solved. :)

When leaving, I forgotten to bring my thumbdrive, makeup kit and my holiday assignments back home! I tell you, I'm dead. I don't even know where I left it. :(

Shopping trip
I went to Far East plaza on thursday with someone. Initially I didn't know what to get for myself. But as I go along, I realise I needed some accessories. Clothes can wait.

In Ice Lemon Tee, stupid someone kept singing Fergalicious. See la, now it's installed in my head. :(

I bought home a pair of black Aviators shades for $9.90 at He & She! Also a pair of square biscuit ear studs for... 4 bucks, a yellow clip and a red clipper (for hair) to prepare for school reopen!

After that we went to catch a movie at HeerenOrchard Cine (gosh, I didn't realise I made a mistake until today!). It is called The girl who lept through time. Jap anime.

I realised that I owe you guys a movie review on Men in White. But I don't think I'll be watching that. So let me replace it with another movie review.

Highly recommended for this movie!!

Ratings: 4.5/5

Duration: 100 minutes

Plot Summary: When 17-year-old Makoto Konno gains the ability to, quite literally, "leap" backwards through time, she immediately sets about improving her grades and preventing personal mishaps. However, she soon realises that changing the past isn't as simple as it seems, and eventually, will have to rely on her new powers to shape the future of her and her friends.

The movie is so funny yet sad at the same time. Initially I had reservations for the movie, but after watching I feel like watching it again!

Sometimes I wish that I have the ability to stop time or go back to the past. Don't you guys feel the same way? This anime hit the right spot!

After that saw Kevin and his girlfriend.

And now for the picture of my new shades:

Today
I watched 200 pounds beauty today! I know I'm slow, but that can't be helped. Waiting for DVD to be out is like this one.

I cried like hell and laugh like hell for this one!

And ended up searching for the song on the net after watching. It's in my imeem playlist now. Hear it. :)

UGH

I think I can UGH for a million times already.

I went to Hwa Chong Institution today again with the drama members. No, we were not bumping in, we went there to watch the SYF practice of CHIJ (Toa Payoh) Girls School.

To tell you truthfully, their play was so much better than our school. Their articulation are wonderful, their acting are superb and the play was so funny yet so touching. We watched the play 2 times, and I cried two times.

If we had all the time in the world, prolly a year or two, maybe our articulation can match up to theirs. Sze Siong was telling me that our background are totally different and thus, we speak differently. But come on, we are all humans. It's not like as if they don't eat and we do, it's not like as if they are born with good English and we don't. At some point of the play, I can still hear the typical Singlish pronunciation. So they are not exactly perfect.

I think it's the whole lah-lah thing that would probably drag our play down, maybe not even securing a Silver. Our acting are good enough, just put more personality to the characters.
I wont be surprise if our school don't get what we wished for. After all, it's not that we don't put in effort. It's just that we needed to put in a little more effort that the other schools do.

Counting down: 4 more days to SYF competition.

UGH.

Update of my life

HELLO I'M BACK (don't say you're front. rawr) after 3 days of no blogging!

Ah. These few days I'm quite busy with school, absolutely no energy to blog. Apart from schooling yesterday, I slept after I bathed, woke up to eat my dinner and continue sleeping till 10. After which I packed my bag and sleep again.

So yea, may I thank ALL OF YOU who voted for me because...

....
...
....
...
...
....

The winner gets a free Swensens meal from the loser!

Yay! Besides that, now we all know that Adrian is not ugly. So like what Yi Long commented... "Dude, confidence!" Yeah, confidence is the key. Once you have confidence about yourself, you will think you don't look ugly anymore.

Latest update: I'm chosen to be the student director of this year's Singapore Youth Festival (SYF) competition. I told Ling about this, and she said, "Wah. Good what!" (or something along that line. Can't remember and lazy to check).

Well, things are not as good as you think. Being a student leader director (crap, I kept typing student leader) is a tiring job! You have to familiarise with every lines and actions of each cast, and have to stand in if any actors are absent for practice. Other than that, when the instructor is not around, you'll have to help her to practice. UGH. Tough job, really. But what matters most is that I cannot be appearing on stage! I like to be seen, especially this is my last year in Drama Club. Well well, I have to accept the fact that I cannot be in the cast team. =(

If only time can go back to when I'm secondary 1 (that's 2004). That would be GREAT. Loads of competition, and I've never felt this upset about my roles in competitions before. Sigh.

And oh yea, happy birthday Yu Xuan. =))))

Final call for votings!

Final call for those who didn't vote for The Ugliest Person Competition! Closing date for votings is tomorrow, 8/1/07 (muahaha. finally it's going to be 2 weeks soon).

Right now the results is: 6 : 1, me 6 votes to Adrian's 1 vote (that vote is voted by Jonas on MSN).

But even if you vote now, the results could still be the same - Adrian on the losing side. So I say, thanks for all who voted for me. Yay! You will know what I'll get from the votings tomorrow. =DDD

Adrian spoke to me about his new tee-shirt designing team, Tea-bag, yesterday and asked me if I wanted to join or not. After much considering and weighing about the Pros and Cons, I agreed. Yay for my new team! It will probably grow and get famous like Pure Milk and Newbie, imagine seeing all the people wearing tea-bag's products just get me high.

Next week I'm getting myself that Bicycle Vintage Series 1800. Meanwhile, check this out:

Whoops. Not this picture. But anyway,
this is the drama banner I was talking about the other day.

Yeah, this picture. Got this "Gamblers" deck yesterday.

It's a "Bee" Poker 92 Face with Cambric Finish. Nice back and the cards feels great. There's like one totally blank card and another blank card with the Gamblers back inside the deck. Man, you guys should get that deck if you didn't buy it.

Yay, that's it for tonight!

First day of school

First day of school! Meh, it was ok... quite slacking. To think I'm like a little kid yesterday, shedding tears infront of the computer and told myself 'I don't want to go to school...". For those who comforted and saying "Jia You!" to me, I thank you all for that. Really appreciate it. Thanks Adrian. Thanks Jaspas. Thanks the others whom I forgot to mention (I only remember they too).

It's a good start I believe. With Mr Tan Liang Hooi back as our Physics teacher and Mdm Prema as our English teacher, I'm sure my physics will be so much better than before and well... will not be too slacking during English lessons.

I came home with a bottle of tinner (not sure how exactly it is spelled) and 2 tubs of paint for painting the Drama banner tomorrow. Scalded my finger while ironing the white cloth (banner) and now that patch of wound remains red. Just finished transferring half of the picture and my back starts to ache. So I've decided to do it at drama room tomorrow since it's like so late now.

Was chatting about McDonalds with Scott and I discovered that their Macs don't have what we Singaporeans have. Would like to try theirs if I ever go to London.

There's Physics lesson tomorrow. W0ot~

Buy for her la...

WOO~ People, please check out http://cckssdrama.blogspot.com
I FINALLY FINISHED SKINNING!!

This time round I spent around a day to make the banner. Actresses in the weblog were purposely made blur, to cover up the identity of... our ex-instructor. ^^ The dracula was specially edited, to bring out the ghostly effect of himself. And if you didnt notice, there's a very small picture of me at the top right corner of the banner. I also placed Eaamonn, the Irish puppet at the bottom left corner.

The borders of the whole site took around another day too, as I keep rejecting ideas of my own. Basically, till now I still think that the borders very much suck.

The codings took me one whole day to do it. Damn it. The codings were messed up and I couldn't figure out how to remove a purple border from the picture link. After a few hours I finally removed it! Yay! I didn't really care about the color match of this skin because black goes well with these dull green and red colors. The school will like me, because I used mainly green for the skin. XD

-------------

I went back to primary school with Weepeng yesterday as it was teachers' day! Saw Mr Johnson and realised that he no longer wear shorts to school (which is a good thing). Saw Ms Peh too, and she treated me with smarties!

After the visit, we went to the shopping centre near the school and shop around for drama stuffs. I saw some pretty clothes and was asking opinions from Peng, and the shop keeper said:

"Buy for her la.."

We both laughed and I told the uncle that he's not my boyfriend. LOL.

Netting Friends

After 8 months of practicing, 4ward Production finally came to an end. Just imagine all the fun everyone had during the night practices, rehearsals and how we encourage each other before the performance. That moment of time, I could feel team spirit among us. I will miss my role as Yi Lian, and of course my other team members in Netting Friends. Let me just write something about them:

Wee Peng as Wei Jun
During the brainstorming of what to act last december, we acted as Husband and Wife. When we got our script, I became Jessie. I never know that we can act as couple again. You are considered as the senior of the seniors in Netting Friends. You've got your role as Wei Jun since last december, and I got my role as Yi Lian only this year. I never know that we can have so much chemistry together. Because of 4ward production, you and I are more close than before. And because of that, then I realised that we had so much things in common. It's great to have you as a team mate and I seriously hope that we can have another chance to act together on stage again. You are a good actor, don't let your skills go to waste.

Shi Qi as Qi Qi
I knew you since The Magic Mirror times, but never know you well. Through 4ward Production, I'm sure we have greater bonds than before. Qi Qi this character is just like yourself. You don't flare your temper at others (or is it I've never seen before?). I've known you better through this production and still wish to be in the same team as you next time when we act together.

Hazel as Jessie
You've only joined us around April or so, because the person acting as Jessie kept changing. It was me at first, but because one of our seniors stepped down so I got to act as Yi Lian. You are in this group for the shortest period of time but have proven to be a great actress. Under the coaching of HP and YingWuen, you improved greatly on your performance. You are still in secondary 1 and have 3 more years to go. I'm sure during the next three years you will be better than this time. Keep up the good work and strive to greater heights!

Serene/Wenling as Imp
You took over this role only this June. Clearly you joined us at the latest stage and put on tremendous stress on your "Hee Hee, OooohHh, Hmpftt" actions. Seriously speaking, you are alot better than your cousin Wen Chun. Your role is the most difficult of all although you have no lines. Every actions are impromtu and you've done it well for all three shows. I look forward to see you on stage during next year's SYF.

I love you guys...

I was talking to Miss Ibaidah yesterday (it's past 12 already) regarding the posters thingy. To my horror, she doesnt want posters anymore. So yea, I told Weepeng about this and he said that we are going to do a poster no matter what. Be it forking out the money ourselves. And I sorta agree with him. Posters is a form of advertisements. How can a production do without posters?

So anyway, I made my verson of the poster already because Liz's poster got rejected by Miss Sim. It's kind of sad to see her works got rejected by the principal.. and that poster got her quite a few months to do it. Now her works got rejected, she cant possibly do a new one because shes having her O's this year.

We are ready to submit to the teacher tomorrow. This better gets the approval by Miss Sim. We dont have much time left!

That's the poster. Click on the image to preview. And oh yes, it's copyrighted. Please do not rip off any part of the poster.

I kind of think that the building destroy the whole poster. Ugh. Comments on this poster please.

PS: Please support the production by buying tickets to watch the show.

TFP

Oh yay, I went for the puppet play called "First Family" by The Finger Players.

Casts:
Tan Beng Tian - The Minister
Oliver Chong - Youngest Daughter
Karen Tan - 3rd Daughter
Jean Ng - 2nd Daughter
Goh Guat Kian - Mother
Low Kah Wei - 1st Daughter
Ong Kian Sin - 4th Daughter
Claire Devine - 5th Daughter
Julius Foo - The Prince

I loooooove the play too much. Talking about the backstage, the blending of the shadow puppetry and the actors are like damn well. I LOVE the lightings as well. Personally I feel that the Lightings designer, Lim Woan Wen did a great job for the lights design. The part when they used damn strong lights and shine it on the audience is freaking well. Ying Wuen told us that that thing can be quite tricky. If you play with it well enough, the audiences like it. If you dont, they will hate it. So yea, thumbs up for the lights designer.

Those people who didnt get a chance to watch it, it's your loss. Because Darren Ng, the sound designer for the play, is doing the operating the sound LIVE. It's always nice to see theatre plays where the sound is designed by Darren. I love the sounds damn loads. I have to say that he is awesome. I LOVE DARREN.

If I'm not wrong, the playwright, Chong Tze Chen should be CT. So, as for the story plot and directing, CT does a great job... as usual. The fighting scene between the Prince and the Mother was indeed very funny and the idea is perfect. Because if there was only the opera fighting alone, the whole show scene will be boring. It's good to add in Waltz, 1980's Dance and the scissors paper stone thingy. But during the quarrel scene among the 6 daughters, the atmosphere wasnt there. CT's set designs are also very simple, yet they can bring out the effects and nice blending effects.

Overall performance comments for the actors: I love it. Among all the actors/actresses, I love Kian Sin and Oliver the most. The 2 guys were acting as ladies! Kian Sin and Oliver didnt dissapoint me. Their acting were better than the previous show. Beng Tian's chinese is very good, and she acts as well as the other TFPs too. I love Goh Guat Kian(mothe), but I prefer her acting in the prev show. Julius Foo, another great actor that I must comment on. His role as the evil scheming prince is damn nice. He acts very well, but could be better if he pronunce his chinese words more properly. Great job guys!

The play is definetely worth of your money. 30 bucks, not wasted!

So speaking of the TFP, Ying Wuen have came up with another puppet show for the TFP. The branch of "Pigs can fly", this coming play is called "Miss Mouse". I'm definetely going to watch this show. Can't miss any TFP's plays, especially it's pure puppetry.

Self-Reflection

Had a nice chat with Jy and peeps in Mac today. Seriously, that talk helped me alot. And I mean hell loads. It suddenly dawned on me that I shouldnt continue clarifying because that would only make things worse. Thanks Jy! :D

So yea, in this post will be purely self-reflection. Gosh, I love reflections.

I learnt a very valuable lesson: Never try to retaliate/defend yourself/clarify things in conflicts because the more you try, the deeper the misunderstanding. Everyone have their own point of view, the way you express your thoughts might be interpret wrongly by other people.

I asked Weepeng about the ethnic code of conduct for an actor. So what are they?
1) The characters that you are assigned to, you must do the homework yourself
2) Cannot wait for the director to chase you
3) Memorise your lines, definetely
4) Do not criticise your fellow actors

So yea, I broke rule number 4 - Do not criticise your fellow actors. Though I didnt mean it and have already said sorry to Mitch on the phone before already, I would like to apologise once again here. ^^

From the conflict, I saw one thing - A misunderstanding can actually blow up the friendship which you and your friend have built for 3 years. Now it makes me really wonder what kind of person I'm really am to them. Maybe I wasn't that important in their life afterall. Maybe I'm just a mere shadow, that lingers amongst their circle of friends. Is friendship that vulnerable, I wonder.

经一致,长一智。

Life is all about learning new things and the mistakes you've made (:

The Drama Politics II

O.o Now things are getting a lil more fun than it initially was, I guess.

Since Huijun wants to make it BIG, then we should I think.

BUT PLEASE NOTE THAT I'M TRYING TO CLARIFY EVERYTHING. NOT TO SHOOT ANYONE OR CREATE ANOTHER REPLY IN ANY BLOGS. Ugh.

I read Afiqah's blog before blogging, and I'm going to clarify everything she wrote. No, not really everything.. Just some parts of the post:

Yes. Your group is good. I admit. But we want to surpass you. Isn't that normal in ANY competition?

We never wanted any competition in the production team. If you said that this is a competition between the production, that's when you are totally wrong. We worked towards the SAME goal. Competition only comes when people are jealous of others and wanted to surpass them. You get what I mean?

Next,

You have been together since last december while we've just been recasted and have been with one another only a month. Your bonds within the group are strong compared to ours.

Our group were never strong bonded in any of the case. Huijun got taken out from our team to join yours, right? And before that.. there's some quarrel between me and huijun, if you guys remember. So, you cant really say that our bonds within the team are strong compared to yours. Am I right to say that?

The thing that really pissed me off was when a member of your group called a member of our group a ''RETARD''. Yes, he's acting wasn't good and he was forgetting his lines, but NO ONE and I MEAN NO ONE, deserves to be called that. That has gone to the point of RUDENESS. As a human being, don't you think you should treat one another the same? We are all not pro-actors though we aspire to be. We know where we stand.

May I ask you a question before I carry on with the post?

Did you ever check with Mitch on this "retard" incident? You can say whatever you want, Mitch and Me knows that you didnt for sure. Because I had a long chat with him on the phone about the Drama politics one day after this incident happen. He totally understands what I meant about "RETARD". What I meant was " 'he is slow in the show, not mental illness' -weepeng" And if you dont believe that me and mitch did chat about that incident, check the picture below.

So do G.A got my idea across?? I hope so.
