Sample composition

After reading a sample composition that Mdm Prema gave, I felt that my English was not very good.

I wish I can write as well as Paul Victor one day.

Paul Victor have got good grasp of vocabulary. He replaced the word "Rascal" with other words like Runt and Tyke. He have good idea and together with his vocabulary, he can portray his idea in a hilarious and funny composition.

So please allow me to type out one part of his composition:

I remarked myself on how far technology had come, if when four-year-olds could cook eggs in mircrowaves. My eyes widened as the severity of the situation ran me over like a speeding bus. I pushed back my chair and started to run towards the kitchen, pulling the wires of my Discman which, by some bizarre twist of evil fate, had tangled around my hand. So much for my "Ang Pow" money.

When I reached the kitchen, time seemed to slow down. I could hear each beat of my heart vividly, like on "The Matrix". In true Bollywood action hero motion, you could almost hear the London symphony orchestra playing Beethoven's fifth piece. I pulled Lucius away from the open microwave door, inside of which he had placed two whole eggs. With a monumental boom that could be heard within a five-mile radius, the eggs exploded, splattering the adjacent wall a coat of yellow and white mush.

"Wow!" exclaimed Lucius in bated breath next to me. "Fireworks!"

---

This piece of composition was written by Paul Victor, a passed-out student in CCKSS. He wrote this piece in 2005, and the tittle was, "write about a time when you had to take care of a naughty child or pet". Paul wrote his baby-sitting of his cousin, Lucius, and he(Lucius) create havoc in Paul's house.

Let me tell you what was happening in case you did not understand what Paul had written. Lucius, a four-year-old child was making lunch(cooking eggs in the microwaves) for himself at the kitchen. When Paul realize that something is wrong, he went to the kitchen and pulled Lucius away from the microwave before something happened. Yes indeed, the eggs inside the microwave exploded and the insides of the egg splattered on the wall. Lucius exclaimed that it was fireworks.

While I took only 5 lines to say what happened, he could convert them into 2 paragraph. This shows that he is REALLY GOOD IN HIS VOCABULARY. No means of sacarsism. He is really good.

And, I even bold the good phrases about the paragraph for you peeps. See, I am so good. *Smirks*
