Heels madness

Yay.

Recently I have some madness for heels. I bought 3 heels over the past few days and each are getting higher. 7cm, 7.5cm and today is the 8cm one. Cool. Now I own 5 heels.

One more thing (trying to sound like Jackie Chan's uncle in that Jackie Chan cartoon),

CHINESE O'LEVELS IS FINISHED!

Another yay-ness. Today's paper is not a difficult one.

For paper 1 I wrote 2 pages for letter writting, and 2 pages + 1 small paragraph for composition. And for paper 2, I checked the scripts and to my surprise I found one very obvious mistake before the bell rang. Thank goodness I changed the answer in time, otherwise 2 marks will fly away.

I'm wearing my heels now. Gotta get used to the highness before tomorrow comes. Bye.

P/S: Happy Halloween in advance!

New site!

Peeps look at my sidebar. Do you notice that you can't view or download all my skins? Well... you are not seeing things and neither do Blogskins have a problem. It's just that...

I have deleted my account in Blogskins.

Hurray.

Don't ask why. You do not want to know the answer. For those who already know, congrats and now keep the answer to yourself. However, if you still want to see my designs again, this is for you!

The site is not entirely finished though. I need to modify the links in blogskins columm but I can't because of some crap maintainence Freeweb is going through. Let's see if you can still view my site: http://freewebs.com/retardarts

I will really appreciate if you send me a testimonial about my works. ^^

Class Photo

Good day fellows!

I finally recieved the class photos.. Taking a look, I looked ugly. Swollen and messy. However, because of the wonderful photoshopping skills of mine (*cough cough*), I turned my ugly face alittle less ugly. People who got hold of the class photo will know what I did to myself. Enjoy~

Formal shot. Note that Shawnald is the only one wearing nametag. And, the teacher's name should be Ms Lim Cui Fang, not Ms Rico Chow!!! OMG~!

Candid shot

I didn't order the informal, because everyone looked pretty ugly in that picture (or was it just me?). Anyhow, I love my class 3/5. I looked at this photo, and saw that every girl is so pretty. 3/5 is full of pretty girls. :)

Tomorrow is the last day of school! Hurray! I just hope that holidays will be better for us and that I wish I can do well for my Chinese O's... which is next monday.

A good news

I can't believe that I got promoted to 4E. I thought I would retain and banned from using the comp.

Now I realise what "efforts are paid off" means.

P/S: I don't really trust the teacher's words. I will only believe when I see the report book myself.

Hydraclear contact solution

I read a magazine just now and there's the free sampling of the Acuvue's Hydraclear contact solution. It gave off a smell and then I threw it away. Can't imagine what will happen when I put on these kind of contact lenses.

A: Eww! What's that smell?

B: I dont know. Probably someone shitted in the train.

Me: Sorry, that's my contact lenses' smell.

(A and B looks at me in a disgusted way and scurried off to the exit to alight.)

Updated

I've finally updated my blog's content. The wishlist on the sidebar is gone, because I'm too lazy to update it... therefore, I deleted it. MUAHAH.

Updated the "today's topics" as well, with my latest post of "What's IN and what's not". I've added a few new links, namely Si Min and Valyn. LOL.

Lastly, I've added both September and October 2006's links to my archives. Yay.

---

Went to Vivocity today, Singapore's largest shopping mall ever.

Well, to all those rich kids... this is the place for you to shop. And for the not rich people (like me), you can only walk outside these shops.

So far there's nothing nice there actually, except for Starbucks Coffee and awesome Cinema. The Cinema seats are really awesome. Very nice, comfortable and classy. I like the outdoor scenery however, though the haze made it difficult to see. One look towards the sea, you can't really see Sentosa Island. Saw the Brani Port Terminal, and was looking at the containers to see whether is there the USPC Company container in the port. LOL.

Overall I would give it a 3.5/5 stars.

P/S: I look forward to the grand opening in December though.

What's IN and what's not.

Since the advanced technology and Singaporeans have become more richer, many things that once used to be hot and IN have now passed by.

Neoprints
The thing that us, girls do when we have free time. Ever since digital cameras and camera phones have become cheaper, girls rarely visit this place. Now neoprint shops can never be the same again.

Polyphonic/Monophonic ringtones
Since the creation of better phones that allows true tones and mp3 formatted music, we have chucked away old phones that uses weird ringtones. Take a look in the buses, only a minority uses such phones.

Diary books
The price for paying a broadband connection is so cheap nowadays that many people have internet at home. Keeping diary is no longer the IN thing because everyone prefers to type down what happened today. No wonder why blogger and other weblog hosts are so popular.

Fat bulky TVs
Since the invention of wonder 42" Plasma TV with beautiful LCD Screens that have high quality color viewing options, garang-guni men (rag-and-bone men) can only collect these fat and bulky TVs that are so heavy and lousy. Yay for tech improvement.

Tape recorder/LD player/Cassettes
I will bow to that person who uses such items in this era. Blank CDs/DVDs/MP3s are so cheap and can be found everywhere, who would want to bring such stuffs outside? LDs can't even fit into a small handbag, unlike the mp3 which allows recordings as well.

Dictionaries/encyclopedias
Ever since the internet reveloution, we don't need these anymore! Just type something in the search engine and you have loads of information about something. Wikipedia and dictionary.com are better off than thicky and heavy books.

Soundblaster 16
This point is pretty lame, but I know that I don't touch this ever in my life. The first soundcard that was produced by Singapore genius, Sim Wong Hoo (See link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Creative_Technology), probably we dont have the wonderful sounds played in our computers.

That's just some of the many things that have passed that technology era, 21st century. How interesting.

A poem for me

Crying through the fog
a dark sound
hushed only by the leaves it blows
it flows
it grows
but never moves
simply a memory

By my friend Scott! HAHA!

Makeover

Was damn bored, so I decided to do a makeover for my Jenny doll.

To think that she was that ugly (see below) in the past:

Spot the difference.

I kept calling her Jenny doll, because every other similiar Jap dolls are called Jenny.. like Barbie. It's time to give her a new name... suddenly, I was wondering why Jenny dolls are so flat-chested, unlike Barbie Dolls?
