Big Head Shots
My hand is trembling recently!
Not that kind of trembling when you did not eat drugs, but just a slight tremble. But you know I can't do anything right with the tremble! I can't draw properly, can't take good pictures.
I know I suck. What causes this I don't know. I think is the medicine.
So I attempted to take one picture with my trembling hand. But beware, it sucks. It's like... god-knows-since-when-I-didn't-take-these-kind-of-pictures.
Told you so.In case you forget what kind of style this picture is, it is the 大头照 (big head shots).
Advantages of taking these kind of photos:
1) If you are fat/ugly, people cannot tell. Everyone looks almost the same.
2) You can hide your oily face, zits if they are quite visible in normal cam-whoring circumstances.
3) For slutty women, big head photo creates an illusion of your boobs larger, with cleavage.
4) If you are not cute (by nature) and wanna be cute, then this is for you.
5) *** MOST IMPORTANTLY: It makes your eyes bigger and your lips smaller/thinner.
(point 5) Which is useless, why girls likes their eyes to be larger? Do you need goldfish's eyes?
I think an average size pair of eyes are ok. Large eyes with small lips makes your face inproportional.
Also, you need to look out for this when you take big head shots: Make your photos blurry. Not very blur but a little blur. Because people cannot see exactly how you look like. They will have the impression that you are a chio bu (pretty lady). And also, it makes the photo a little "dreamy".
Which is why my trembling hand is a good thing for taking such photos.
For the disadvantage, there's only one:
1) If you have eye bag/dark eye rings, the picture will make them more visible.
The only people that will still follow the trends are the *ahem* people age around 10 - 15. 16 and above don't do that, they are more mature.
Ah! Since I'm once someone from that age group, I will give you tips on taking a good big head shot:
1) Tilt your head up
2) Get your camera ready at the top
3) Don't stretch your hand if you don't want a full view of your head.
4) Flash light is optional if you don't want your picture to be overexpose.
5) Instead of smiling, grin. Best is you can squeeze out those fake "dimples". But if you have dimples, good for you. Another factor to contribute to your cuteness.
6) Open your eyes as wide as possible.
And you're ready to take a picture.
