The Best Damn Thing

Oh yea, we are the (cckss drama alumni) drama queens. :)

Let me hear you say hey hey hey!

Hey hey hey!

Alright, now let me hear you say hey hey ho!

Hey hey ho!

I hate it when a guy doesn't get the door,
even though I told him yesterday and the
day before...

I hate it when a guy doesn't get the tab and I
have to put my money out and that looks bad!

Where are the hopes? Where are the dreams?
My Cinderella story scene. When do you think
they'll finally see......

(Chorus)

That you're not, not, not, gonna get any better,
you won't, won't, won't, you won't get rid of me
never, like it or not even though she's a lot like
me....

We're not the same, and yeah, yeah, yeah
I'm a lot to handle, if you don't know, shove it,
I'm a hell of a scandal, me, I'm a scene, I'm a
drama queen, I'm the best damn thing that your
eyes have ever seen!

All right, All right, yeah...

I hate it when a guy doesn't understand why a
certain time of month, I don't want to hold his
hand, I hate it when they go out and we stay
in, and they come home smelling like their
ex-girlfriends...

I found my hopes, I found my dreams.
My Cinderella story scene. Now everybody's
gonna see.....

(Chorus)

That you're not, not, not, gonna get any better,
you won't, won't, won't, you won't get rid of me
never, like it or not even though she's a lot like
me....

We're not the same, and yeah, yeah, yeah
I'm a lot to handle, if you don't know trouble,
I'm a hell of a scandal, me, I'm a scene, I'm a
drama queen, I'm the best damn thing that your
eyes have ever seen!

Give me an A!
Always give me what I want!
Give me a B!
Be very, very good to me!
R!
Are you gonna treat me right?
I!
I can put up a fight!
Give me an L!

Let me hear you scream loud!
Let me hear you scream loud!
1..2..3..4...

Where are the hopes? Where are the dreams?
My Cinderella story scene. When do you think
they'll finally see......

(Chorus)

That you're not, not, not, gonna get any better,
you won't, won't, won't, you won't get rid of me
never, like it or not even though she's a lot like
me....

Top 5 most detestable lines

I don't like to make my blog sound very pissing, but really, I can't take it anymore.

Here are the

Top 5 most detestable "starting a conversation" lines:

#1: What's up?
I use this myself, because I hate it and nothing is up. So I would want to irritate people using this.
What's up what's up. Nothing is up. The ceiling is up. What ups do you want?

#2: How are you?
My answer: Ok...
Yawn. Think how many times I need to reply this question everyday?
An examiner will fall asleep and mark everyone down if everyone's composition starts in a common way.

#3: How's life?
My answer: Life is good.
I mean, how am I suppose to answer this?!?! Of course life is good la, if life is bad you wont see me here blogging anymore.

#4: How's your exam?
Please don't think that everyone has Mid Year exams (my school have only common paper. No MYE). And don't ask why because if I know why, I will be god.

#5: How's school?
My answer: Ok..
Must I tell you every detail that happen in school? It would take me ages to do so.

--

A tit for tat. I use them myself to irritate you people. Wasted 1/4 of my brain juice to think over conversations like that.

Oh here's another one, it's not my top 5, but whenever I hear this I get very pissed:
#: Valerie
Call me hey or val is better than calling my English name. It sounds like you are asking me some favour.

Email MSN terrorists.

My head is on fire

Woa people, congrats me. I am super-duper pissed over some matters lately.

It is LITERALLY lately, because this happens yesterday! I was contemplating to blog about this yesterday midnight, after all the work have been done. But then I decided that no, I shall not ruin my health over this matter.

http://www.sggirls.com/sg_photo_display.php?photo_id=191432

Yesterday, Zhenhao sent me the link above, over the MSN. Knowing that it is not a virus, I clicked it.

GUESS WHAT I SAW?

My picture!

The picture was put up without my permission! I don't mind people taking my pictures without my permission, but WHY ON EARTH THIS PERSON HAVE TO PUT MY PICTURE IN THIS CHAT SITE?!

This site although doesn't allow pornography, putting innocent girls' pictures on this site without permission is just like releasing homemade sex video on the internet without the "cast" permission.

This dumbass is so going to get it if I manage to track him down.

So yes, I reported that page to SGgirls straight after I seen it.

Hi,

I'm writing in regards to the picture posted for Model "Valerie" in this page. I am not the owner of this account but I am the owner of the picture.

This person has taken my picture without my permission and has put up in that page without my permission. Therefore i decided to report to sgGIRLS because it violates the copyright rule.

Please do something about this and hope you can give me a satisfactory response in regard to this issue. Should you have any question, please feel free to contact me via the email address given.

Thank you.

Clearly, no justice is being done to me at the moment. What dedicated to Oriental Beauty, what share your photos with others? More like making the people believe that that dumbass is someone who have so many awesome photos of "herself". It's not even your own photo.

And yes, to add on to the raging fire that is on top of my head, there are some spams in my tagboard.

So Ms Jolin and Ms Angie, I thought you two celebrities are VERY busy? You guys read my blog? I'm so honoured. *sarcastic smile*

Oh wait, you two were the same person and you are in Singapore? Oh, cool. So I see that you have a split personality.

Now go get a life.

Get lost from my tagboard before I do a tracking on your IP address. Oh wait, I've already done that.

Usually I'm nice to the extent of not responding to the people who spams my tagboard, but today volcano had erupted. Congrats, you just made yourself famous in my blog.

This month....

Me: I finally... bought myself a new blusher.
Sis: *Nods her head and smile*
Me: From Red Earth.
Sis: Hm.. good.
Me: 17 bucks.
Sis: *eyes open widely* Wth. So ex.

LOL la. Anyway, I bought it, but I didn't pay for it. Jun Kai did. Thanks Jun Kai! I will definitely buy you a birthday present to make up for it! =DDDD

Anyway,I've already planned what I wanted to buy at the end of this month:
  • A wallet from Fossil (saw that in Cleo magazine. It looked awesome!)
  • A bag from EK fashion (saw that in Cleo too. But maybe I will give it a miss. Get some other bag instead of that.)
  • Some clothes. (perhaps some tunic dresses. I think I need dresses badly.)

If I give the bag a miss, maybe I will have more money to shop for clothes! Will give it a thought... hm.. Fossil wallet, I'm definitely gonna get one.

Jason (or Lei, or L if you prefer), asked me what kind of lifestyle I want to have in the future. Well, I hesitated before I gave him my dream lifestyle. Because I realised that as we grow older, our perception of lifestyle will be changing.

When I was very young, as young as Sec 1, I would want a very extravagant lifestyle. Like becoming a lawyer, earn big bucks, wear branded clothes to work.

Then I started to change my thinking - lead a simple life. Get a husband and cook for kids.

Now that I'm back to my old thinking, but I would want something more simple a little. Such as getting a stable job with a stable income that allows me to go shopping every week. And I'm contented.

It's not a very ideal lifestyle, but that's prolly what I'll be getting when I'm out to work. Instead of dreaming a fancy lifestyle that you prolly wont get in the future, you might as well think of a better lifestyle that is common, but good enough to meet your needs.

But hey, it's ok to dream sometimes. Right?

Click the link above for an exclusive X17 paparazzi video from Britney Spears.

I know she's cute and all (I like her too ok!), but recently she looked quite haggard and... I hate how she talks in that video.

    Ahhh.

Oh, Speaking of Britney. Look at this video below. Plain funny and "Madonna" is just plain disgusting.

    Money money money

As I told Ling just now in MSN, I want to save 30 bucks a week. Then I can go shopping at the end of the month. So far this plan is working. I've saved 40 bucks this week, and still have the money to afford good food almost everyday (Macs and titbits, that is).

Imagine how good it is to go shoppping every month? Visiting shops that I don't step into before? Buying loads of cosmetic products for myself and spend all of my money in a day. That's just so cool!

Just a few days ago, Gee Gwee (he's my neighbour, I mean... classroom neighbour. He sits beside me during lessons) and me were wondering how much Mdm Prema earns a month as she told us that she goes shopping every week.

Now, think again. If a teacher earns.... let's say $5000 a month. Everyday she will have around 167 bucks to spend. Now if she goes shopping every week, she will have around $1166 to spend.

So cool, I want a life like this too.

So yes, speaking of GG, he is already attending outside business course! How cool can that be? I think he will prolly be those type that every girls at his working place will fall for.... because he is handsome and rich. Not that he is rich now la, but as in long term. Businessmen are usually rich, right?

I must start thinking about my future now... as in how much money I have to earn to let me being able to shop every week.

    UGH

I think I can UGH for a million times already.

I went to Hwa Chong Institution today again with the drama members. No, we were not bumping in, we went there to watch the SYF practice of CHIJ (Toa Payoh) Girls School.

To tell you truthfully, their play was so much better than our school. Their articulation are wonderful, their acting are superb and the play was so funny yet so touching. We watched the play 2 times, and I cried two times.

If we had all the time in the world, prolly a year or two, maybe our articulation can match up to theirs. Sze Siong was telling me that our background are totally different and thus, we speak differently. But come on, we are all humans. It's not like as if they don't eat and we do, it's not like as if they are born with good English and we don't. At some point of the play, I can still hear the typical Singlish pronunciation. So they are not exactly perfect.

I think it's the whole lah-lah thing that would probably drag our play down, maybe not even securing a Silver. Our acting are good enough, just put more personality to the characters.
I wont be surprise if our school don't get what we wished for. After all, it's not that we don't put in effort. It's just that we needed to put in a little more effort that the other schools do.

Counting down: 4 more days to SYF competition.

    UGH.

    Fake Lashes

    HEY PEEPS!
For girls who put on makeup when youre out, you better read this!

I tried out my new fake eyelashes for this new blogskin (yes, I've changed my blogskin). And they are sooooooo good! I'll tell you why in a moment.

Firstly, you don't have to worry about your mascara clumped together when you didnt apply properly. You know, those clumps make your eyelashes super heavy and uncomfortable. You might as well don't wear out. I know what you girls will say... "But when I dont wear mascara, my eyelashes will be so short and de-volumised!" So if you get fake lashes, you will have a volumised and long pretty lashes! Without clumps!

Secondly, when you remove your makeup, you dont have to spend long hours trying to remove the mascara. You know that when you remove the mascara, you look like you got beaten up by someone right? And the next day you look so panda-ish without foundation. Fake eyelashes are so good, you just peel them off and it doesn't hurt and wont give you panda eyes!

Thirdly, if you take care of them properly, you can actually re-use them by removing the glue and dust and such. No worries about having to purchase so much on fake eyelashes!

I know you guys must be thinking that fake eyelashes are so fake, they look so long... even longer than lengthening mascara. Well... to tell you the truth, fake lashes comes in many different types. There's the lengthen one, the volumised one, both and the natural look one. For me, I use Missha's SNS. Those are super natural, although they look long but not as long as those lengthen types. And good news is that, you don't have to trim them!

For those in shops like Chamelon, Aries or those shops that sells cheapskate makeup stuff... it is 3.90 bucks per pair and comes with glue. Missha ones are 5.90/6.90 (can't remember the price) per pair and comes with glue as well. For the sake of your eyes (I think cheapskate ones will irritate your eyes), I suggest you use the non-cheapskate products like Missha and so on.

    That's it! Use fake eyelashes!

    What friends are for...?

I had 2.4km run test today.

It was a tough run, really. To think that I've not run for 2 years already, today's run was going reduce half of my life span.

So there I was, standing along the starting line with Jacq, Ragini and Simin. We kept telling each other that we will run together (but usually we would either run faster or slower than one another. Hah). Just as the teacher blew her whistle, we slow jogged out the school gate.

When we were at the fence near the school's basketball court, Kitmeng fell down and started to cry while laughing. So the girls in my class stopped and asked her if she's alright. Then Jamuna helped Kitmeng and told us girls, "Keep going! Don't stop! Go Go Go..."

    We carried on.

I'm quite amazed by myself actually, because usually I would start to walk only at the mosque. This time round however, I jogged to the park with little walking. All I was thinking at the time was that "I'm reaching the park soon. Few more steps and I'll be there. Keep going... keep going..."

I took the mid-way card from the teacher, and walked down the park with Ragini. Jacq was jogging right after she got the card. After the park, I started sprinting. I ran past the girls in my class, but stopped because 3 girls from other class blocked the path. Like Kevin Bacon in Murder in the First, I kept counting numbers. The only difference is that he counted numbers in the cell dungeon to keep his sanity, and I counted numbers during the walk to regain my breath and energy to continue to run.

Sometimes I would walk for a very long distance after a sprint. And so Jacq and Ragini would pull me along to jog. "Go... go... go...", words of encouragement coming from their mouth. Those faint calling made me continued running.

I'm reaching the bus stop soon, few more steps to the mosque and then back to school. Just keep going... don't give up...

At the mosque, I started walking. Jacintha was at the school gate, encouraging everyone to keep going. I jogged back into the school but started to walk after I got past the gate. Jacq was right behind me, walking too. Then she started running and caught up with me. She grabbed my arm, I grabbed hers and we sprinted back to the finishing line. I could feel that my legs were in pain as I dashed back with Jacq, I feel like as if someone was setting fire on my legs. It was burning hot inside, I felt very uncomfortable.

We got the end-point card and I collapsed at the foyer steps.

Eugene the kind man, asked for the teacher to help me. I was crying non-stop and complaining that my legs were burning hot. He and a girl from the other class started to stretch my legs to ease the pain in my legs.

I would like to thank the peeps who helped me, including those people that didn't do much. I think I wouldn't be here blogging without all of their help.

    Thanks Jacq.
    Thanks Ragini.
    Thanks Simin.
    Thanks Jamuna.
    Thanks Yu Xuan.
    Thanks Kit Meng.
    Thanks Wei Ying.
    Thanks Eugene.
    Thanks Jacintha.
    Thanks Ummu.
    Thanks Mr Liew.
    Thanks Ms See.
    Thanks Mdm Prema.
    Thanks Mdm Ruhaiza.
    Thanks Benjamin James.
    Thanks Meifoong.
    Thanks Huijun.
    Thanks to my classmates.
Thanks to the schoolmates who helped me.
Thanks to the other people who asked about the run.
Thanks to the other people who cared for me.
Thanks everyone whom I forgot to mention.

Friends encourages you and gives you the determination to run to the finishing line.

    I did it. Did you?

"We are friends together, now and forever
    Till the end of time
We share our joys, our woes and sorrows,
    we never say goodbye
Even if we go on separate ways,
I know we'll meet again someday

    Friends forever
    Our heartbeat as one~"
