Stealing

Did my tittle caught your attention? Yes, you heard me. Stealing is today's blogging topic. Not that I saw people stole something from a shop or I had stolen something from a shop, the stealing that I'm talking about is web stealing.

If everyone is observant enough, my HTML souce did not include the "disable right click" action. So people can just right click something on my site and steal it. But I thought, come on la. If you meant to steal something from this site, no matter how much I tried to disable the right click action in my site, the things will just get stolen.

Let me tell you a secret. iwebtunes.com had such code that doesn't allow people to see what the link of the song is, am I right? Well, I actually discover what the link of the song was and I used the link instead of the code. But I think they soon discover that people might know how to get the link, so they changed the link. HAH. Never will they be able to guess that I could actually know the link even after they changed it.

But the reason why I'm using their codes now was because I felt that they would know that I steal their links again and then they would probably changed it to something difficult to guess.

That was why I said that if you meant to steal something from a site, the thing would still be stolen even if you tried to protect your things in the site.

And that was also why I did not use the "disable right click" code in my blog. You can disable right click in your site, but you cant stop the people from clicking "view --> source" to steal your things.

Agree? :)
