Yesterday I went to celebrate Sean's Mum's birthday at Beng Hiang Restaurant (ming2 xiang1 cai4 guan3) which is situated at Amoy Street.
The parking lots in Amoy Street are pathetically little, so we had to keep turning in and out of this one way lane.
Since I'm quite a fan of chinese food (dont really like western restaurants, too much dinning etiqutte that I cannot remember), I can tell you that the food they served there are D-LICIOUS! Yum-yum.
We had: (I give you the most exact dishes' names here, cept the fish because I have no idea what fish was that. I'm not a fan of fishes.)
Long longevity paus
Cold dish Combination(leng3 pan2)
Doubled Boiled Superior Shark's fin w/ Pig's Tail
Crispy Suckling Pig (thumbs up for this)
Fish
Asparagus w/ scallops
Braised Duck with Sea-cucumber in claypot
Long Longevity noodles
Dessert (not sure what dessert, but it taste good)
Kong Bak Pau
Cake (from Choc.a.bloc I think)
Hm.. this is the first time I ate a little from every dishes. (was thinking that I should not be too choosy when eating out with them) And Sean's Dad kept telling us to try the Kong Bak Pau from this restaurant because its quite famous.
Oh and I got 2 blisters on my right foot due to the rubbing between my toes and the peep toes wedges. *cries*
